Threshing Mill:
A
newly converted farm barn, Threshing Mill is modern and spacious. The
double bedroom with its lovely views has a king-size bed and en-suite
bathroom with bath and separate, large shower. The twin bedroom with 3ft.beds
is also en-suite with a shower.
A modern, well equipped kitchen with eye-level, double-oven, dishwasher and microwave leads into a spacious sitting-room. Double glass doors open onto a patio, ideal for relaxing in the sun, listening to the sea and enjoying a glass of wine!
For those interested in archaeology, Threshing Mill houses a 19th Century Horse Engine and Threshing Machine still on its original site.
St. Agnes has lots to discover from ancient monuments to cafes and shops selling local produce. There is a pub within walking distance of Threshing Mill providing excellent lunches and evening meals. You can also explore other islands, visit Bishop Lighthouse, take a boat trip to look for seals and puffins, go shopping on the main island of St. Mary’s or follow the Gig race on a Friday night; all on our local boat, The Spirit of St. Agnes.
St. Agnes Post Office and shop will prepare a grocery order to be delivered on your arrival. Fresh milk from the farm [where you can also buy homemade ice-cream, cream and yoghurt] is delivered daily.
On arrival in the islands you will catch our local boat, from St. Mary’s to St. Agnes. We will meet you and transport your luggage to ‘Threshing Mill’ where you can instantly relax and enjoy your holiday on our lovely, tranquil island.
Dogs are welcome. Please bring a basket/blanket for the dog to sleep on.
